If you should decide to remodel, add onto your house or build a garage, your contractor is required to get the necessary permits to do the work. In order to obtain a permit, a contractor must be licensed by the State of Michigan.
Once the permits are issued, the City’s staff of trained and experienced inspectors will start the process of assisting you.
